Established in June 2015, the objective of Football Federation Victoria's Women in Football Network (WiFN) is to support and celebrate all women in football, regardless of their role.
Currently, only 17% of players, 8% of coaches, and 10% of referees in football in Victoria are female.
WiFN was established to address this imbalance, and was officially launched at the MCG during a breakfast and live-screening of a Westfield Matildas' FIFA Women's World Cup game.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new webpage devoted entirely to girls/women in football.
The webpage will increase the visibility of female role models, and promote a transparent pathway for the advancement of female players, coaches, referees and administrators.
