Barnies Coaches Undertake the

FFV C-License Accreditation

Congratulations to Simon Hussey, Ray Rossi and Andrew Cahill for undertaking the key educational criteria prior to being awarded their ‘C’ level coaching licence.

The ‘Level’ course is part of the advanced FFA accredited coaching progression and required a big commitment to complete. The three coaches gave up every weekend in November to complete these courses which were financed by the club as part of the clubs commitment to uplifting the clubs coaching support and to assist all coaches.

These courses are designed to educate coaches how to organise and conduct coaching practices under the FFA National Curriculum. Advanced Courses are aimed at coaches currently coaching at elite level or perspective coaches who would be interested in pursuing coaching at an elite level. This could range from the Open age National Teams (Socceroos, Matildas), Under age National Teams (Young Socceroos, Young Matildas), State Representative Teams and Senior Community club teams.

Together with the appointment last year of a technical director the addition of 3 ‘C’ level and 1 coach developer is a great step forward and will provide improved coaching support to uplift the overall playing standards of the club to benefit all.
