"Volunteers are not paid ...

Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless"

What makes a good volunteer?

In our experience, there are two essential ingredients that make a great volunteer

An attitude to learn and experience new things; and

A willingness to share one’s experiences and knowledge.

Volunteering gives you a lot in return.

It is all about the joy of making a difference on the one side, while receiving immense value on the other

from the experience of volunteering, meeting people and learning something new.

A club like ours is always in need of volunteers – in fact, the whole operation is run by volunteers.

We are always looking for more help.

How much time do I need to commit?

You do not have to be a parent to be involved with the club, but you may have to complete some forms that permit you to work with children.

You do not have to make a firm commitment, just helping out when you can is fine.

Volunteering with us is not a lifetime commitment:

most parents only get involved for the duration of their kids’ participation, and that’s fine.

Some kick on with us even after their kids have left, and some drift in and out over the years. We’re happy for you to be as involved as you want to be.

It's impossible to be involved in all situations, but there's no excuse not to be involved

in something, somewhere, somehow, with someone.  Make an ounce of difference."

Some Roles You Can Help With ...

Feel like you have something to add to the Club .... want to guide it forward into the future?

The Committee could be your calling and we'd love to hear from you ..

Match day coach or just a training night assistance coach.

We can help you and even get you officially qualified.  You just need a desire to help out.

Team Manager

The heart beat of every team - team liason and chief organiser!

It always sounds like a daunting task but with our assistance, it really is quite easy.

A quick couple of hours helping sell coffees and sausages in bread!

All our kids love a cold drink and the parents a coffee ... can you help?

Are you good at organisiation?  Have you got some great social ideas?  Join the social committee and help create the social atmosphere we all love!

Match Day

Learn more about the game and help out at the same time ... marshalling,  lines person, setup or maybe even a referee ... it all helps.

These actions shape and mold the present into a future of which we can all be proud."
